🍎 iPhone (Safari)
- Open Safari and go to hilltoppickleball.org
- Tap the Share button (box with arrow pointing up) at the bottom of the screen
- Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen"
- Tap Add in the top-right corner
- The club icon will appear on your home screen
🤖 Android (Chrome)
- Open Chrome and go to hilltoppickleball.org
- Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner
- Tap "Add to Home screen"
- Tap Add to confirm
- The club icon will appear on your home screen
💡 Once added, tapping the icon opens the site in full-screen mode — it looks and feels just like an app.
🏠 The Home Page
The home page is your dashboard for everything happening at the club. Here's what you'll find:
- Announcements — Important club news posted by management, shown as blue banners at the top
- 📅 Calendar & 🎯 Reservations buttons — Quick links to jump straight to those pages
- 💬 Add Message button — Post a short message to the Court Talk board (see below)
- This Week — A preview of upcoming events happening in the next 7 days
- Court Talk — A live message board where members can leave quick notes for each other
- 📷 Court Cam — A live view of the courts so you can see if they're busy before you head over
💬 Court Talk
Court Talk is a simple message board on the home page where members can leave quick notes — great for "Anyone up for a game?" or "Courts are wet today."
- Tap the 💬 Add Message button just below the Calendar/Reservations buttons
- Enter your name (up to 10 characters) — it will be remembered for next time
- Type your message
- Tap Post Message
💡 Your name is saved in your browser, so you only have to type it once. Tap your name in the form if you ever need to change it.
📷 Court Cam
The Court Cam gives you a live snapshot of the courts directly from the home page. Use it to check whether courts are occupied, wet, or empty before making the trip over.
- The image refreshes automatically so you always see a current view
- Powered by a solar camera — image quality may vary in low light
🎯 How to Reserve a Court
- Go to Reservations
- Enter your name (used to identify your reservations)
- Enter the club's 4-digit member code
- Click Login
- Select a date
- Choose a time slot
- Pick a court — South courts: S1, S2, S3 · North courts: N1, N2, N3
- Click Confirm Reservation
If login fails, check that you are using the correct 4-digit member code.
📋 My Reservations
- Cancel: Click Delete next to any reservation to remove it
- You can cancel both upcoming and past reservations
⏱️ Session Timeout
Auto-logout: You will be automatically logged out after 2 minutes of inactivity.
To stay logged in, click the Stay Active button when prompted, or continue interacting with the page.
📌 Booking Rules
- One reservation per member per time slot
- Courts shown in gray are already booked or blocked — choose another
- Instructors may reserve up to 3 courts per time slot
📢 Club Announcements
Important announcements appear as blue pills at the top of the Calendar page. Posted by club managers regarding events, court conditions, or schedule changes.
🚫 Understanding Blocked Courts
Some time slots may be unavailable because they are blocked for:
- League Play — Round robins or recurring group sessions
- Club Events — Mixers, tournaments, special activities
- Maintenance — Court repairs or closures
The reason for each block is shown on the calendar (e.g., "Women's Round Robin").
📅 Schedule Page
The weekly open play schedule shows court activity by time slot:
Green — Open Play (all levels welcome)
📆 Calendar Page
The calendar shows upcoming club events color-coded by type. You can navigate up to 12 months forward and 6 months back.
